GEORGE IUSCO

Mr. Iusco of Madrid , Spain heads up New Ventures (Latin America) for Repsol YPF. He is an explorationist with thirty plus years of experience in the petroleum industry. Mr. Iusco has held senior positions with Gulf Oil, Exxon and PDVSA with extensive exploration experience in Venezuela, Mexico, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Trinidad, Central America, Argentina, Brazil, Kazakhstan, Middle East, North Sea, West Africa, Rocky Mountains, California, Alaska and the Gulf Coast.

He is an expert in evaluating complex structural and stratigraphic settings, integrating geophysical and geological technologies in order to detect, rank and evaluate new prospective areas and formulate new exploration strategies. Mr. Iusco received a MS. in Geology from the University of Bucharest and a MS in Geophysics from the Petroleum Institute Bucharest Romania.

CARLOS VARGAS

Carlos Vargas is an Associated Professor of the Universidad Nacional de Colombia (Bogota) and has occupied several positions in the Geologic Survey of Colombia (INGEOMINAS) and the National Hydrocarbons Agency of Colombia (ANH) where he was the Deputy Technical Director (2006-2009).

He has a geology degree from the Universidad de Caldas in Colombia (1993) and got his PhD in Geophysics in the Technical University of Catalonya - Barcelona (2003).
