GEORGE IUSCO

Mr. Iusco of Houston, Texas heads up New Ventures (Latin America) for Repsol YPF. He is an explorationist with thirty plus years of experience in the petroleum industry. Mr. Iusco has held senior positions with Gulf Oil, Exxon and PDVSA with extensive exploration experience in Venezuela, Mexico, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Trinidad, Central America, Argentina, Brazil, Kazakhstan, Middle East, North Sea, West Africa, Rocky Mountains, California, Alaska and the Gulf Coast.

He is an expert in evaluating complex structural and stratigraphic settings, integrating geophysical and geological technologies in order to detect, rank and evaluate new prospective areas and formulate new exploration strategies. Mr. Iusco received a MS. in Geology from the University of Bucharest and a MS in Geophysics from the Petroleum Institute Bucharest Romania.
